The 90 field musicians who comprise the 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps hit the field Sunday for a "Luminous" show.
The performance, held at New London High School's football complex, will take its cue from the title and explore sunrise and sunset, moonlight and star shine. The songs include Michael Kamen's "The New Moon in the Old Moon's Arms" and Michael Markowski's "Shadow Rituals."
The 7th Regiment finished fifth in Open Class DCI World Championships and is heading out on a Midwest tour, ending with the DCI World Championships in Michigan City and Indianapolis, Indiana.
This competitive junior corps was founded a decade ago and is based in New London. It's a non-profit group, guided by the New London Surfers Alumni Association (SAA).
