Ah, yes, I remember it well: Covering the Jonas Brothers' 2009 concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
I thought it would be the end of me.
The out-of-their-minds fans screamed and screeched and yelped, yes. But they also jumped up and down on the metal bleachers, making the whole construction shake like a rickety carnival ride gone awry.
I feared the bleachers would collapse. I feared even more that people would find out I'd died at a Jonas Brothers concert. How mortifying. (Hey, I'm way too old to be even the mother of their demographic.)
The idol hysteria over the Jo Bros has cooled a bit since then, with other floppy-haired boy groups stepping into the void, but the Jonai still have their tried-and-trues. Those loyal gals will no doubt turn out when the group performs Tuesday at the Mohegan Sun Arena. This is part of the brothers' first North American tour in three years.
