The Connecticut Sun, who couldn't recover from a slow start on Friday night in Atlanta, must avoid a similar fate today when they visit Eastern Conference leader Chicago (6 p.m., CPTV Sports).
Connecticut (7-16) fell behind 18-1 against the Dream and never really seriously challenged after beating Atlanta 88-86 two nights earlier at home. The Sun, in last place, trail fourth-place Indiana (11-13) by 3 1/2 games for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot with 11 games remaining.
First-place Chicago (16-8) is coming off a 79-66 road win at Seattle on Thursday despite playing without leading scorer Elena Delle Donne.
The rookie has a left foot injury and was wearing a walking boot Thursday night. Her status for today is unknown.
