Tigers fall to the Spinners

The Connecticut Tigers dropped a 6-1 decision to the Lowell Spinners in a New York-Penn League game Thursday night at Dodd Stadium in Norwich.

Kasey Coffman had two hits and Curt Powell scored on a double play in the third inning to account for the Tigers' only run.

Starter Austin Pritcher (3-3) took the loss for Connecticut (29-33) and Ryan Beck pitched three innings of one-hit relief.
