Two with local ties graduate from military training

Two people with local ties graduated from military training.

Army Cadet Erica N. Dozier graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, Wash. Dozier, the daughter of Jeffrey and Jackie Dozier of Groton, graduated in 2010 from the Robert E. Fitch Senior High School and is currently a student at the University of Connecticut in Storrs.

Air National Guard Airman First Class Nicholas S. Boots graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas. Boots, the son of Veronica Lutzen, of Lisbon, and William Boots, of Tolland, is a 2012 graduate of Griswold High School.
