The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting scripts for consideration to be developed during the 2014 National Playwrights Conference. Applicants may submit works via the O'Neill's open submissions process through Friday, Oct. 25.

Submission guidelines include: early submissions are strongly encouraged; plays of any length or genre are eligible; however, to be included in the conference, the work must remain unproduced through July 31, 2014; no agent required; electronic and hard copy applications are accepted; and the submission fee is $35.

Visit www.theoneill.org for more information about the submission process and to sign up to receive updates. The O'Neill also will host three online Q&A sessions about the process on the O'Neill Facebook page on Sept. 26 at 1 p.m., Oct. 9 at 6 p.m., and Oct. 20 at 2 p.m.
