The Stonington Land Trust presents the fourth in a series of seasonal guided walks through Thomas Miner Nature Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary today at 11 a.m. Bruce Fellman, a naturalist and professional photojournalist, will lead the walk and share tips and techniques on nature photography, as well as information about the autumn migration season. The walk will last approximately 90 minutes on flat terrain with frequent stops. All ages welcome; no fee.
The sanctuary is at 236 Taugwonk Road, Stonington. Sturdy footgear, long slacks, sleeves and tick repellent are recommended. Bring a camera, binoculars, trail snacks and water. Steady rain will cancel.
