Because it's a giant magnet for All Things Musical, expect a fine and celebratory crowd to hit The Telegraph in New London on Saturday; it's the third anniversary for the Golden Street emporium that features used vinyl, CDs, DVDs, books, magazines and greeting cards.
Another big element of the Telegraphian charm is the frequent in-store shows (and this includes the recent noontime Thursday "Live Lunch Break" series).
Speaking of live performances, the birthday party features a nice lineup of acts including, fresh off a triumphant set at the recent I Am Festival, Roz Raskin and the Rice Cakes (6 p.m.). Also playing are the Root Farmers (Craig Edwards & Brian Slattery, 5 p.m.), Street People (7 p.m.), and Slander (8 p.m.).
Prize giveaways will take place throughout the day, and light refreshments will also be served.
