Frank and Shirley Longo of Waterford, celebrated their 65th anniversary on October 2. They were married at St. Joseph's in New London.

Shirley lived in California until World War II, came to New London, and met Frank at a dance. That was the beginning.

Frank was a carpenter for 60 years and Shirley worked in the health field.

They have four children, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Frank and Shirley believe what kept them together was helping and making decisions together. They had ups and downs, but with faith and love for one another, got them here today.
