Obama has proved an unworthy president

I cannot believe the unmitigated gall shown by the Obama administration in meeting with leaders of enemy countries, but the same administration has problems meeting and negotiating with the Republican leadership in Congress to work out a solution to the problems in this country! Isn't meeting and talking what a true leader should be doing? President Obama certainly has time to fly all over the place - on our dime - to push his agenda. Plenty of time to party, to golf, to vacation, to express his opinions. He has time to cause divisiveness in this country.

This president, in my opinion, is not fit to be president of this wonderful nation. My only desire is that his family will have to live with the consequences of his destruction - as the rest of us must do.

The most open and accessible government? Not anymore.

Day 3 of the government shutdown raises the question: How long do you think the stalemate will last?
Four to seven days. The bluster can't last.
One to two weeks. Government officials have an aversion to compromise.
Two to three weeks. The stock market will have taken a beating and local businesses will be suffering profoundly.
A month or longer. I can't even envision the ramifications.
