David Collins' article, "State GOP may feel shutdown's backlash," (Oct. 2), needs a response.
There goes Collins rambling on as usual. Apparently, he has no experience negotiating. He excels in heckling, and leaves himself open for criticism.
If he wants to take on the U.S. Senate, primarily the Democrats, following their leader into hot water, that is his decision.
My question: Why is he and they ignoring a large majority who do not approve of the current health care legislation as written?
We're talking about Obamacare. Again, President Obama can only see his way, or the highway.
I am a conservative and since we do not have a conservative party, the only path for me to vote is with the Republican Party. Republicans, like myself, are compassionate people. We care when there are no jobs or part-time work. The shutdown of government was caused by President Obama. So stay tough Obama and ignore the people, create gridlock.
