During a recent conversation with someone, they started complaining about parents/care givers who hold up the school bus in the morning, while boarding children. I immediately thought back to the days when my daughter took the bus, and I too, would board the bus with her, and get her settled. Before departing, I gave her a big kiss, hug, and a new penny for luck, every morning. Looking back, that extra couple of minutes was very comforting for both of us, before parting ways for the day.

If you have an issue with being behind a school bus and getting held up for a few minutes, perhaps you should leave earlier in the morning.
