Elinor Lipman is the bestselling comedic writer featured today at a luncheon in Mystic's Bank Square Books. Lipman is celebrating two new releases.
One is a novel, "The View from Penthouse B," about two markedly different middle-aged sisters forced by circumstances to live together in a luxury Manhattan dwelling they can no longer afford.
The other is a nonfiction collection titled "I Can't Complain: (All Too) Personal Essays," which offers insights and anecdotes that not only illuminate the writing life but other whimsical and bittersweet observations and experiences.
