Norwich executive named to CBIA board

Mary C. Manfredi, finance director of Computer Sciences Corp. in Norwich, has been elected to the board of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association.

Other new members and their affiliations are Steve Blazejewski, Covidien; Kevin Burke, Wells Fargo; Colin Cooper, Whitcraft; Mary Ann Emswiler, Dermatologic Cosmetic Laboratories; Robert J. Friedland, Proton OnSite; Cynthia S. Gondek, ACT Group; William W. Lee, The Lee Company; David R. McHale, Northeast Utilities; Sheryl L. McQuade, Berkshire Bank; Robert S. Sobolewski, ebm-papst Inc.; Christopher J. Stephens Jr., Barnes Group Inc., and Stanley A. Twardy Jr., Day Pitney.

The board will elect a new chair on Dec. 11.
