The celebrity website TMZ reports that Foxwoods is trying to get Lindsay Lohan to return some of the money she was paid to host a Halloween party at the casino, since she was an hour and 45 minutes late.
TMZ says she was, by contract, paid upwards of $50,000 for the appearance. Foxwoods' public relations manager Dale Wolbrink declined comment when contacted by The Day Monday, saying, "We're just not at liberty to discuss contracts in any way, shape or form, regardless of what they are."
Lohan, dressed as the horror movie queen Carrie, skipped the red carpet for the Thursday event held at the MGM Grand at Foxwood's Premier Ballroom. Inside the party, she and co-host Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was dressed as Freddy Krueger, judged the costume competition and interacted with guests, according to reports.
E!'s website put a more positive spin on things, quoting a source saying the casino was, in general, happy with the event and is "looking forward to more opportunities" with Lohan.
