Amidst all the Halloween decor, which went up in stores in August, you've probably noticed a bunch of Christmas stuff already sneaking onto shelves. It's never to early to start thinking about presents - particularly for me. In that spirit, the "Sharing Small Treasures - Holiday Gift Show and Food Appeal," kicks off with an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and an artists' reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. These fetes and the exhibition itself takes place in the Artists' Cooperative Gallery, 7 Canal St., Westerly, and a variety of pieces of small art will be available for purchase. Folks attending the opening soiree are invited to bring donations of nonperishable food benefitting the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. Through Dec. 1. (401) 596-2221, westerlyarts.com.
