No changes after Waterford recount

Waterford — The municipal election recount for the Board of Education and Representative Town Meeting District 2 were completed on Wednesday afternoon with no changes to the elected candidates.

Elected to the school board were: Republican Kathleen McCarty, Democrat Anne Ogden, Republican Lisa Marie Barry and Democrat Gregory A. Benoit.

Elected to the RTM’s District 2 were: Republican Michael J. Hannan, Democrat Thomas F. Ammirati, Republican William M. Auwood, Democrat Theodore Olynciw and Democrat Gerard J. Gaynor.

My Thanksgiving has been completely taken over by the ever-earlier Black Friday sales. My big meal will be looking more like a fast food burger in line outside of Best Buy than the traditional sit-down meals from days of ole.
