Craig M. Crews of Yale University has been named recipient of the first CURE Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Connecticut United for Research Excellence, a statewide industry association that represents the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, launched the award to recognize people whose longstanding commitment to entrepreneurship has made a difference in the state.

Crews is founder of Proteolix and Arvinas, two biotech startups. He also is associated with Yale's biology, chemistry and pharmacology departments.

Arvinas, focusing on novel therapeutics to treat a variety of diseases, has 15 employees in New Haven.

An earlier venture, Proteolix developed the cancer drug Kyprolis.

I am not a gun owner and I will sleep better knowing that we are doing more to keep track of gun ownership in our state.
I am not a gun owner but I feel that these registration requirements and bans infringe upon the Second Amendment rights of those who wish to own weapons.
As a gun owner, I support these registrations and bans. Irresponsible gun owners give a bad name to the rest of us who exercise our Second Amendment rights responsibly. Guns are only as safe as the people who own them.
As a gun owner, I will be registering my weapons. Whether I agree with the reasoning behind it or not, the threat of a minimum of one year in prison for violations is enough incentive for me to comply.
As a gun owner, I feel these mandatory registrations and the bans infringe upon my rights. I am a responsible citizen and I will be exercising my Second Amendment rights by refusing to comply with these mandates.
I am a gun owner but I do not have any guns that will require registration.
