A prayer at the Western Wall

Published January 31. 2014 4:00AM

Right-wing Israelis participate in a special prayer Thursday at the Western Wall, the holiest site where Jews can pray in Jerusalem's old city. A few hundred Israelis participated in the prayer against U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's anticipated framework for the terms of a Palestinian state in most of the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem. While U.S. officials have said little about the framework, its elements are being hotly debated in Israel, where they could affect Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ability to hold together his coalition government.
