Stonington Players announce auditions

The Stonington Players will hold auditions for their spring production on Sunday, Feb. 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Community Center Annex and Monday, Feb. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Stonington Community Center.

This year's play is "Scrooge MacBeth" by David MacGregor. The play is a comedy about a community theater group who find themselves missing half the cast for a performance of MacBeth and quickly throw together an ad lib performance of Shakespeare meets Scrooge and Christmas. The cast is comprised of three women and two men, all of whom are adult. Performances are scheduled for April 25, 26 and 27 and May 2, 3 and 4 at the Stonington Community Center, 28 Cutler St., Stonington.
