Groton - The U.S. Submarine Veterans Groton Base has planned several upcoming events.
A corned beef and cabbage dinner will be held from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at the clubhouse, 40 School St. Members and their guests are invited. Reservations must be made before Thursday, March 13, and advance payment of $9 each is required.
Lunch is served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, at the clubhouse. There will be lunch specials including fish on Fridays during Lent and the Subvets famous chili is always available.
The Subvets World War II chapter will meet for its monthly social and lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at the clubhouse and the Holland Club will meet for its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at the clubhouse.
Events are only open to members of U.S. Subvets and their guests.
