New London - The Southeastern Connecticut Home Show returns for its 33rd annual event this weekend, not long after clocks "sprang forward" an hour in anticipation of spring.

Running from Friday through Sunday at the Connecticut College Athletic Center and Dayton Arena, the home show is the oldest in the region. It will feature booths displaying a wide range of products and services, including tree experts, cookware, wireless services, flooring installers, kitchen and bath designers and contractors ranging from landscapers to remodelers.

A special feature of the show is the Home Depot Kids Workshop, allowing children a chance to show their skills. A kids corner will feature a play area, bounce houses, swingsets and magicians.

Four-minute hearing screenings will be provided free of charge by Community Hearing Aids of Connecticut.

The show, produced by Jenks Productions Inc. and sponsored by "The Kitchen Guy," Springs & Twigs Landscapes, MJT Roofing, MetroCast and The Day, runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A non-perishable food item donation benefitting the Gemma Moran/United Way Food Center will net attendees $1 off the admission price of $10 for adults and $8 for children. Children under 12 are admitted free.
