Waterford _ The southbound lanes of Interstate 395 at exit 77 were closed for 30 minutes early this afternoon after a car caught fire after crashing into a guardrail.

At 1:20 p.m, state police said a 2006 Jeep Commander crashed into a guard rail, damaging 70 to 100 feet of the rail. The car exploded but there were no injuries. Both southbound lanes of the highway were closed from 1:29 p.m. to 2:03 p.m. The Department of Transportation was called to repair the railing.

How do you see UConn's basketball season ending this year?
I'm feeling lucky. I predict both men's and women's national titles.
The men are lucky to have made it this far. I don't know if they can win against Florida again.
No matter how the men do, we can count on the women to bring home a national title.
The men have the momentum to win and the drive to prove themselves after not being able to compete last year.
I'm more interested in the start of baseball season.
