Do you make it to Mystic for their First Friday strolls - where citizens and visitors gambol about the shops, restaurants and galleries? It's a fun and relaxed way to get to know the spirit and possibilities of a village, although one might best avoid a First Friday Stroll in Beirut. Meanwhile, as part of this week's Mystic event Studio M is hosting an opening night reception for their new exhibition featuring works by two Pawcatuck artists: Linda Peduzzi (mixed media paintings) and John Tedeschi (woodblock illustrations). Peduzzi's "Perennials" is shown here. Through June 28. Studio M, 29 Cottrell St., Mystic. Hours 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tues.-Sat.; (860) 536-5000, studiomframing.com.
