Sobriety checkpoint planned for Montville Friday night

Montville — Town police department along with the Montville Resident Trooper’s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Friday into the early morning hours Saturday.

Police will be assisted by members of the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Traffic Enforcement Team. The checkpoint was made possible by a grant from the state Department of Transportation under the 2014 Comprehensive DUI Enforcement Program.
