UPDATED: NL man charged in Gales Ferry burglary

Ledyard — Police charged a New London man Saturday with burglarizing a home in Gales Ferry section of town and stealing numerous pieces of jewelry last month.

Zachary Waryck, 24, of 79 Garfield Avenue Apt #3, was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. He is being held on a $75,000 bond and is slated to be arraigned in New London Superior Court Monday.
