Crayola to open Orlando attraction

Published July 30. 2014 4:00AM

Crayon manufacturer Crayola is building a family attraction in Florida, similar to one it operates in Pennsylvania, and more could be on the way. The company said Tuesday that Crayola Experience Orlando will open next summer at The Florida Mall.

The attraction will feature 25 hands-on activities in 70,000 square feet of space. One will let children create their own crayon with a personalized wrapper. Another will let kids appear on their own coloring page.

Crayola, a subsidiary of Missouri-based Hallmark Cards Inc., said it chose Orlando for its second venue because it's a top family destination.

Do you agree with Tony La Russa that baseball players associated with steroid use and bypassed, regardless of their achievements, are deserving of Hall of Fame induction - with an asterisk?
Yes. I believe Bonds, Clemens and McGwire deserve their place in the Hall of Fame.
No. I think it sends a rule-breaking message to current players and Little Leaguers.

According to La Russa, the asterisk would indicate: 'Look, we have some questions.' What?
