Studio 33 celebrates its 33rd Anniversary showing ‘Fixed Views’, black & white images of nature by well known photographer Frank Kaczmarek. The show will run until June 22.

Studio 33 is excited to announce the Grand Opening of ‘Frames Down Under’ a nifty downstairs retail space with a large selection of ready made frames and prints.

Artist reception and viewing of Frames Down Under will be Friday, May 11, 5 – 7 pm.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Courses

Deep River Ambulance and Chester Hose Co. are pleased to sponsor Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses this summer. The Deep River Ambulance course (284 West Elm Street, Deep River) will run Monday, Wednesday and Thursday days (8:30 am to 2:00 pm) from June 18 to August 16. The Chester Hose Co. course (6 High Street, Chester) will run Sunday, Monday and Thursday evenings (6:00 pm to 10:00 pm) starting June 17. Course fee is $725 and includes CPR certification and EMT class textbook. A physical exam and proof of current inoculation status are required. Pick up some fresh, delicious, local food at the Denison Farm Market this summer and fall. Each week market goers can find local fruits and vegetables, meat, honey, eggs, maple syrup, herbs, jellies and preserves, cheese and many other items.

The Last of the Red Hot Lovers which opens in Ivoryton on June 6th and runs through June 24th, introduces us to Barney Cashman, a 47-year-old restaurateur, who decides he needs to take a break from his 23-year-old marriage. On three different afternoons, he brings women to his mother’s apartment while she’s at the hospital volunteering. Behind plentiful laughs is a tender portrayal of a decent fellow who just can’t succeed in sinning.
