Whether it's a hand-crafted whirly-gig to launch outside on the cottage lawn or a time-tested collection of nautical lamps & sea glass to let the inside glow, The Gen. Stanton Flea Market has a large supply of unique collectibles & antiques to make a cottage a cottage.As schools close & cottages open for the summer,vendors at The Flea Market stock their booths with items to buoy the spirits of cottage owners, cottage renters & everyone else. Pack 19 Touch a Truck

Touch-A-Truck is a fun family event to be enjoyed by kids of all ages! Where kids can rub elbows with their hometown heroes who own & operate their favorite construction trucks, fire engines, police cars, etc.
All "entry fees" will be donated to Community Food Banks.

Cub Scouts and leaders will also be on hand to talk to boys who may be interested in joining Cub Scouts!

Summer Reading Finale: Parochial, Charter, Homeschooled, and Out-of-town Students 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, at Otis Library NORWICH. This free program is made possible by the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut. Great work! All students who participated in the FIZZ BOOM READ summer program and who are not attending Norwich Public Schools are invited to a pizza party, with a raffle to determine the winner of a Kindle and $25 Amazon gift certificate. Registration requested. Registration opens August 15. Ages 6 & up.
