They’ve Been Here for Us

Do you really want to help some of the volunteer first responders in Guilford? They’ve been here for us since the 1800s until the present. All volunteers are trained to state and national standards both in fire suppression and emergency medical and rescue procedures. This intensity of training has allowed many Guilford Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) members to transition into career responder positions of department chief, assistant chief, and first line officers.

The first person at your readers’ door during an emergency may not be in uniform, but could be their friend or neighbor. The GVFD has five companies who own and maintain those stations that house vital town owned equipment. Some of these buildings have been a place of refuge during weather emergencies.

I encourage your readers to support their volunteer first responders at the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department with a monetary donation now.
