A North Haven man who had been arrested by police in January has been turned over to New Haven Police in connection to two previously unsolved arsons.

According to North Haven Police, Anthony Laudano, of North Haven, was arrested on Jan. 29 for a series of illegal fires set in the fall of 2018. His arrest helped establish him as a suspect for two unsolved arsons in New Haven.

Police in New Haven secured a warrant for Laudano's arrest and North Haven Police detained him on Wednesday, July 17. He was taken into custody by New Haven Poilce and held on a $300,000 court-set bond.
