Bellissima (bell-EES-i-muh) is an easy going kitty with a complicated name that means “most beautiful” in Italian. This gorgeous dilute tortoiseshell arrived at the shelter with her kittens more than three years ago, and why she hasn’t been adopted yet is a mystery.

She is the first to greet people at the door, dolphins up to any hand that offers petting, and loves to play with the laser pointer. Although she adores the Forgotten Felines volunteers, she is hoping that this is her year to find a forever home! To adopt Bellissima or any other cat or kitten, call the Forgotten Felines adoption line at 860-669-1347 or apply online at www.forgottenfelinesct.org.

Find Your Match at Forgotten Felines: Forgotten Felines holds open adoption events every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 153 Horse Hill Road, Westbrook. Adoption applications are accepted at that time. For more information, call the adoption line at 860-669-1347.

Forgotten Felines is seeking volunteers who can spare two hours a week to help clean and care for the cats. To join the Forgotten Felines team, call the volunteer line at the number shown above.
