Dean’s List

• Brian Yu was named to Sourthern New Hampshire State University’s Dean’s List for the winter 2021 semester.

• Kaitlin Parker and Hannah Luparia-Oboyski of Guilford were named to the Curry College Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester.

• McKendry Eschinger of Guilford was named to the Lebanon Valley College Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester.

• The following Guilford Students were named to the Eastern Connecticut State University Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester: Olivia Anderson, Jake Conklin, Scott D’Aguanno, Bryce Makula, Camryn Makula, Gabrielle Palumbo, and Jillian Wirth

• Charlie Danaher of Guilford was named to the Lasell University Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester.

• The following Guilford students were named to the Connecticut College Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester:

• The following Guilford students were named to the University of Vermont Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester:

Academic and Extracurricular Activities

• Jon Venter graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam with a bachelor of science degree in business administration at a ceremony on May 22.

• The following Guilford students graduated from Bryant University on May 22:

Collin Acampora graduated with a B.S. in business administration degree in finance.

Chloe Charbonneau graduated cum laude with a B.S. in biology.

Chrystina Bonelli graduated cum laude with a B.S.

Alister King graduated with a B.S.

• Charlie Danaher of Guilford was inducted into the Lassell University chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, a national college athlete honor society that recognizes student-athletes from four-year NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, and USCAA institutions with a minimum GPA of 3.4.

• Marlha Hohlfelder of Guilford was named a Presidential Scholar at Clarkson Universty for the spring 2021 semester.

• Samuel Westgard of Guilford graduated from Clarkson University on Dec. 31, 2020 with a B.S. with great distinction in mechanical engineering.

• The following Guilford students graduated from the University of New Hampshire:

Eryn Murtagh graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in occupational therapy.

Claire Veitch graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in environmental conservation and sustainability.

• Edwin Fisher of Guilford graduated from James Madison University with a degree in marketing.

Awards and Honors

• Olivia Anderson of Guilford was recognized at East Connecticut State University’s annual Honors Program Senior Reception on May 13 for her thesis “Understanding the Impact of Partisanship on Climate Change Opinion from 1973-2016.”

• Olivia Anderson of Guilford was awarded the Eastern Connecticut State University’s J. Eugene Smith Library’s ninth annual Library Research Award.

• Kiera Stankewich and Wiley Bartels of Guilford were the recipients of the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education Student Leadership Award for 2021, an award recognizing students who exhibit leadership skills.
