The Clinton Huskies baseball team kicked off its 2019 season in the 15-U AAU East Shore Travel League last week. The Huskies played a doubleheader against Clubhouse on June 15 and split the set for a 1-1 record at the season’s outset.

In the first game, the Head Coach William Fritz’s squad came away with a win in the first game on the slate with a 4-0 victory.

Garrett Garbinski pitched a no-hitter to earn the win on the mound. Garbinski also supplied three hits and scored two runs. Brady Fritz had a pair of hits to go with an RBI and a run scored. Dave Sacco notched a base hit and an RBI.

In the nightcap, the Huskies lost by a score of 5-3. Sacco had a hit, drove in a run, and scored a run as well. Ryan Luciani scored a run, while Ethan Ranaudo had a hit and a run.
