The Madison Youth Cheer competition team continued an incredibly successful 2019 season by finishing in second place at the American Youth Cheer National Championships competition in Kissimmee, Florida.

On Dec. 14, the Madison Tigers competed against 13 teams from seven regions at the National Championships. Madison placed in the top five to secure their spot in Super Sunday on the final day of the competition. Then on Dec. 15, the Tigers competed again and turned in another excellent performance to finish second overall in the nation.

Madison executed a perfect routine on both days at the national meet. The Tigers were recognized for hitting zero, meaning that they had no deductions in execution and safety during their routines.

The cheerleaders on the Madison Youth Cheer team are Cristina Case, Lucy Cummings, Sophie Elder, Ashley Fiorella, Gianna Foligno, Juliana Jorens, Abby Kustra, Allison Mulhern, Neala O’Dea, Alessandra Picard, Julianna Picard, Mia Scott, Lilyana Signore, Hailey Yahara, and Katelyn Zagami.
