Westbrook’s Basketball Teams Win Out the Week

Girls’ Basketball

The Westbrook girls’ basketball team had a pair of games on the schedule last week. The Knights claimed a pair of victories in the two contests and improved their record to 3-8 as they head into the second half of the 2019-’20 campaign.

On Jan. 14, Westbrook hosted Achievement First and picked up a 63-38 win against the Royals. Three days later, the Knights hosted Hale-Ray and scored a 45-20 home victory over the Noises.

Boys’ Basketball

Westbrook had one game on the slate last week and the Knights were able to secure a win in the contest. Westbrook headed to Moodus to face off with Hale-Ray on Jan. 16. The Knights picked up a 63-47 win against the Noises, and the win moved Westbrook’s record to 4-5 on the season.
