The Westbrook Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting took place from 4 to 6 p.m on the  Town Green, with music, ice carving, s'mores bonfire, carriage rides around the green, refreshments, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Dan Medeiros puts the finishing touches on the snowflake ice carving.

Westbrook Emblem Club 535 hosted its annual Wine, Beer, and Martini Tasting at the Westbrook Elks Lodge on Friday, November 8, 2019. There were also light refreshments and raffle prizes donated by local businesses. The Emblem Club gives back to the community by doing charitable work and are always looking for members. The event was sponsored by Westbrook Emblem Club 535 and Seaside Wines. Proceeds from the event benefit local charities and scholarship programs. Westbrook Muster and Tattoo Celebrates Milestone 60 Years

The Westbrook Volunteer Fire department held their annual carnival July 10th through July 13th. Tufano Amusements  providde the carnival rides and games.

Proceeds from the event benefit scholarships, fire department equipment and training, the Halloween Parade and activities, Little League, and Project Graduation.

The Westbrook Town Green hosted the band þÄúShaded SoulþÄù Friday July 5th as part of the park and recreation free summer concert series.  The band played a mix of R & B, Motown, Soul, Pop, Disco and Top 40 tunes.

The next concert is Friday July 12th featuring þÄúBig Deal RockþÄù a high energy rock band.  Performances begin at 6.
